Camille Seaman (b.1969, USA) - The Big Cloud
Camille Seaman is most well-known for her dramatic images of icebergs that reveal the beauty of these ancient yet threatened objects. She recently turned her attention to a different natural phenomenon, weather, and applied the same fine-art aesthetic to capture its power and brilliance. Seaman credits her daughter with the inspiration for the series “The Big Cloud.” At 8 years old, she was watching a storm-chasing program on television when the idea hit her: “Mom, you should do that,” she said. Flexible Soft Lamp
Simon Frambach created a inventive new way to create light and rest by combing polyurethane foam and a lightbulb with a protective cage. The soft white polyurethane foam turns the harsh bright light into a warm glow that you can stuff anywhere. You can tuck the light under your head and use if as a pillow. Jam the light in a small spot where it stays nestled in place providing you with a little extra light for reading or play.
Mikko Lagerstedt is a fine art photographer from Finland. He started his photography journey in December 2008 and fell in love with it straight away. “I love to view the world from different perspectives. My goal is to pause the mysterious and atmospheric moments of everyday life. In our lives, things can go so fast that we forgot to enjoy the moments. Sometimes we need to stop and see the beauty of life and if I can make people stop and see it, I have succeeded.”
